Acer has announced new Android Smartphone Acer Liquid Metal available in India. The Android 2.2 Froyo Acer Liquid Metal has a very cool looks and full metal body.Liquid Metal has a crisp 3.6-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with 480×800 pixel resolution and comes with 3G HSDPA and WiFi b/g/n, connectivity.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm 800MHz MSM7230 processor with powerful Adreno 205 GPU for better graphics. The Acer Liquid Metal has 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM and can hold up to 32GB storage via MicroSD card. The phone is enough powerful to hold the next version of Android OS, the Android 2.3 Gingerbread if offered by Acer in future.
It has a 5MP autofocus camera with LED Flash and feature image stabilization while capturing photos. The camera able to record video at 720p HD quality with Dolby Mobile audio. The phone has Acer’s Breeze 4.0 UI layered on top of Android 2.2 OS. Other specification in phone are Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, Wi-Fi, 3G HSDPA, GPRS, EDGE, Accelerometer, GPS with A-GPS support, 3.5 mm audio jack etc. The Acer Liquid Metal smartphone has a 1500mAh battery which provides up to 11 hours of talk time on 2G network.
