4. Pulse

RSS has a reputation for being a rather dry technology, feeding you dull lists of headlines. Pulse flips RSS on its head, providing streams of feeds that grab your eye with photographs. It's perhaps not for the hardcore RSS crowd, but if you follow a small number of feeds, it's a great choice.

Plenty of apps exist for transferring content between your computer and your device, but Dropbox is free and easier to use than most of its contemporaries. Select a film and the app figures out where you're located, lists nearby cinemas, and displays times your chosen film is showing. Efficiency can be further increased by pinning favourite cinemas to the top of the list.

Virtual pianos and guitars are all very well, but purely digital musical toys are more suited to Apple handhelds. TonePad is the best of them, using a grid-based interface that enables you to turn notes on and off and compose pleasing and harmonious loops; your creations can be edited, saved and uploaded to share with other users.

iPhone 5 to Launch in September and May Change its Pattern

As you know that Apple has always launched iPhone in June or July. But this time for iPhone 5 you may be disappointed and have to wait few more months to get you favorite new iPhone version 5. According to Craig Berger, an analyst for FBR Capital Markets, that Apple will break its predictable cycle this year by releasing the iPhone 5 in September.

In a note to investors Craig Berger said, "For the iPhone 5, we continue to hear that a July launch is unlikely, with various casing suppliers and touch suppliers still ramping up, with some chip vendors not having yet received firm iPhone 5 orders, and with other sockets like the image sensor (most likely going to Omnivision exclusively, but with some potential for Sony to split that socket) still in flux. Given these factors, we think a September launch is more likely, off from Apple’s traditional iPhone launch schedule, but giving the firm more time to enhance its next-generation instant communications on the phone."

Berger also revealed that Apple plans to build 100 million iPhones this year which is up from a previous estimate of 75 million. Also Apple has boosted its internal iPad target to 45 million units, up from 38 million previously.
